Daily Dirt – 5/4/11

Pretty quiet day so far. Here’s what I’ve got…..

Hamilton College head coach Tobin Anderson is leaving to accept a spot on the staff at Siena. Anderson 118-63 in 7 seasons at Hamilton. He also spent 5 seasons as the head coach at Clarkson (67-66) and was an assistant at LeMoyne before that. He will replace Adam Chaskin on Mitch Buonaguro’s staff.

I’ve heard that Manhattan DBO Jason Wingate is still on campus and expected to be retained by new head coach Steve Masiello. Wingate is a Manhattan alum who scored 973 points in his career.

Princeton assistant Brian Earl is staying on staff with new head coach Mitch Henderson. He will not follow Sydney Johnson to Fairfield. Earl was the 1999 Player of the Year in the Ivy League and has been an assistant at his Alma Mater for the past four seasons.

I can confirm that Sean Tabb is no longer on staff at Brown. Tabb spent one season with the Bears. He was the interim head coach at Trinity before that. There has been no word on his replacement yet.
