Daily Dirt – 6/10/13

• I mentioned on Friday that both Jim Shaw and Paul Fortier had departed the Washington staff. I now have some info on where they will land…Multiple sources have told me that Fortier is in line to become an assistant at Cal Poly. I have also heard that Shaw is in the mix to become the DBO at New Mexico. Both of these moves could be made official sometime this week.

• I can confirm that Zak Boisvert has departed the Iona staff for a different spot. Word on the street is that he will be replaced by former State College of Florida head coach Brock Erickson. Before taking the helm at SCF last season, he was the head coach at Monroe JC (NY).

• Three separate sources have now told me that Stonehill head coach David McLaughlin is the leader to become the associate head coach at Northeastern. He compiled a 189-99 record during his 10 seasons at Stonehill. He would replace Pat Duquette who became the head coach at UMass-Lowell last month.
