Daily Dirt – 6/16/11

A few things that have come across my desk this morning….

I’ve heard that St. Mary’s College (MD) assistant coach John Kopcso will land a spot on Gary Water’s staff at Cleveland State as the video coordinator. Kopcso is a Cleveland native who has also been an assistant at Cleveland Central Catholic HS. It sounds like former Bucknell standout Patrick Behan is in the mix to replace Kopcso. Behan has been playing overseas since he graduated.

Former Iowa and Butler head coach Todd Lickliter is involved with an assistant spot at Miami (OH). I’ve heard that they are just waiting for approval from HR to announce his hiring. According to my source, he would be Charlie Coles’ successor when the long-time Miami coach decides to retire. Expect an announcement in the next few days.

Waycross College assistant coach Tyler Page has taken a job as the associate head coach at Brantley County HS. Rumor is that Jamie Brooks (former assistant at Middle Georgia College) is going to take his spot at Waycross.
