Today’s dirt…

• It sounds like Loyola (IL) head coach Porter Moser will be losing two assistants. I have heard that assistant Jason Gardner is headed to Memphis, while assistant Armon Gates will be moving on to Northwestern. Earlier this spring, Moser lost assistant Rick Malnati who became the head coach at Fenwick High School (IL).

• Multiple sources have told me that Kennesaw State assistant Ryan Cahak has resigned due to personal reasons. It sounds like he will be replaced by current Navy assistant D.J. Black. Black and KSU head coach Lewis Preston have previously worked together at Penn State.

• I can confirm that Rob Judson has resigned as an assistant at Illinois State. Judson had been an assistant under former ISU head coach Tim Jankovich, and was retained last season by new head coach Dan Muller. No word on where he will land.

• I have heard that Stonehill College (MA) assistant Chris Kraus is the leader to become the head coach there. He is a 2006 graduate of the school and has been on the staff for the past three seasons. He would replace David McLaughlin who became an assistant at Northeastern earlier this month.

• I have heard that new Missouri St. Louis head coach Bob Sunvold will retain the entire staff of Dale Ribble, Landon Shipley and Chico Jones. Ribble has been on staff for the past four seasons, Shipley for two, and part-time assistant Jones has been there for 35 seasons.

• DeAndre Walker has been named the new head coach at Columbus State Community College (OH). Walker is a former player at CSCC who spent time playing professionally after graduating from Fairmont State (WVa). He was most recently an assistant at Ohio Dominican.
