Here’s today’s "dirt"…..

Cincinnati staffer Chris Shumate has accepted a spot on Steve Prohm’s staff at Murray State. Shumate has been at Cincinnati in operations roles for the past four seasons. He played at Murray State under current UC head coach Mick Cronin.

It sounds like Kyle Cieplicki will return to Vermont to become an assistant coach. Cieplicki was the DBO at Vermont (his alma mater) last season, but departed for Brown where he was named an assistant on May 19th. Now it appears that he will return to Vermont to join new head coach John Becker in a full-time role.

Baton Rouge CC head coach Todd Foster has resigned. He started the BRCC program two seasons ago and won 17 games each season. He is going to spend more time with his family.

I’ve also heard that Campbellsville University (KY) assistant coach Jeremy Monceaux has resigned to look into other coaching opportunities. Monceaux played at Liberty and was also an assistant at Shelton State CC.

Peninsula College has hired Dan Dewitt as an assistant coach. Dewitt has been a graduate assistant for Tubby Smith at Minnesota for the past two seasons and played for Don Meyer at Northern State.
