A few things to close out the week…
• I have heard that Brett Putz will be hired as an assistant at Upper Iowa. He was an assistant at his alma mater St. Cloud State last season. As a player at SCSU, he scored over 1,300 points for his career (2008-2012).
• Mulitple sources have told me that Scott McMillin has been hired as the head coach at Palm Beach State. McMillian was most recently the head coach at Lynn University (FL) where he compiled a 158-130 record during his ten seasons (2003-2013). I have also heard that Martin McCann will be hired as his assistant. McCann worked as a GA for McMillin at Lynn last year.
• From a great source… Devin Eighmey has joined the staff at Northwest Missouri State. He was an assistant coach at William Jewell (MO) this past season and was previously an assistant at Peru State (NE).
