A few things that I’ve heard…
- I can confirm that Brown University head coach Mike Martin will add Cooper Handelsman to his staff. Handelsman had most recently worked as the director of the Hoop Group Elite. Before that, he spent one season as the video coordinator at Lehigh.
- I can also confirm that Wagner head coach Bashir Mason will hire Bobby Jordan as an assistant coach. A former player and assistant at Drexel, Jordan spent this past season at IMG Academy.
- Cody San Miguel has joined the staff at Air Force. Last season was his first as an assistant at Talladega College. Prior to that, he spent three seasons as an assistant at Texas State. San Miguel served in U.S. Marine Corps from 2007-11.
- DIII Rutgers Camden has wrapped up their nine Skype interviews. I have heard that this has now been narrowed down to 3-4 candidates, and I can confirm that at least one current DIII head coach, and one former DIII head coach are in the final group.
