Some mid-week dirt…

I have heard that James Madison will hire Clemson DBO Matt Bucklin as an assistant coach. Bucklin has been at Clemson for the past four seasons, and served as the operations coordinator at Georgia before that. An official announcement is expected shortly.

Word on the street is that the leader at D2 Bridgeport is Christian Brothers University assistant Kranthi “Krunch” Senadhi. Before being hired at CBU back in 2020, Senadhi spent nine seasons on the staff at Bridgeport (including six as the associate head coach). He also spent three seasons as an assistant at D2 IUP, and was a part of the 2010 team that advanced to the 2010 National Championship game.

D3 Nebraska Wesleyan will add Mak Krause as an assistant coach. Krause had spent the past three seasons assistant coach at D3 Franklin College, and will replace Chris Hamilton who became the head coach at Franklin earlier this spring.

I have heard that former Winthrop guard Adam Pickett will join the staff at D3 Mary Baldwin University. MBU head coach Matt Griggs was on the staff at Winthrop when Pickett played there.

Heard a very good JUCO in Illinois is/will open. Stay tuned…
