A few things that I’ve heard…

I can confirm that Lindenwood assistant Tommy Abdenour is on the move, and will land at Arkansas as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. Abdenour had been on the Lindenwood staff for the past four seasons. He has also worked as the video coordinator at Central Michigan, and as the special assistant to the head coach, video coordinator, and assistant coach for the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League. An official announcement is expected shortly.

I have heard that former Buffalo head coach Jim Whitesell is in the mix to join the staff at Albany. The veteran coach spent the past four seasons at Buffalo where he went 70-49 (.588). He has also been the head coach at Loyola Chicago, Lewis, and Elmhurst. More on this move as I hear it.

Darian Dollar has taken an administrative role (most likely video coordinator) at Richmond. Dollar was an assistant at Indian Hills last season, and a graduate assistant at Florida State before that.

Word on the street is that Amherst assistant Khalil Griffith will join the Boston University basketball staff as the Director of Basketball Operations. Last season was Griffith’s first at Amherst after spending time coaching in China. He also spent three seasons working for Kevin Boyle at Montverde Academy (FL).

It sounds like the search at D3 Penn State Abington is done and they will hire a current head coach. More on this one soon…
