A few things that I’ve heard today….

Dillard University (LA) will hire Norbert Rome to replace Dale Brown as the head coach. Rome was an assistant with the DU women’s program for the past four seasons. Brown departed last month for Clark Atlanta.

I’ve heard that Lee Academy (ME) head coach Andrew Papaefthemiou has resigned and will most likely take an assistant position at DII Assumption College. Papaefthemiou was a staffer at Providence before he took the Lee job last season. It sounds like Lee assistant Deshon Gaither will become the head coach.

Rumor has it the Trinity College (CT) assistant Chuck Bridge will accept a spot on Paul Cormier’s staff at Dartmouth. He had been at Trinity for the past two seasons. My source tells me that Trinity will elevate Justin Franczek to the full-time spot on staff. He had spent the past two years as the part-time assistant.
