Here are a few things that I heard while I was on the road recruiting yesterday….

Edward Waters College (FL) has named Frank Burnell head coach. He was previously the head coach at Daytona Beach CC and replaces Anthony Mosley who was released after six seasons at the helm.

Western New England University has hired former player Malik Champlain as an assistant. He worked on the staff at Mt. Ida College (MA) last season.

Virginia State assistant Donald Payton has departed to become the head coach at Varina (VA) HS. Payton had spent the past two seasons at VSU. He was the coach at Clinton JC (SC) before joining the VSU staff.
