A few quick hitters…

I have heard that Tra Arnold is no longer on the staff at Samford. Last year was his first there after spending two seasons at Iona. Arnold is also the former head coach at Odessa College (TX) where he went 159-32 in his six seasons. It also sounds like Arnold is part of a small group in the mix at Angelina College (TX). The group includes a former high major assistant, and a former Angelina assistant.

Lonnie Boga has joined the staff at D2 Northeastern State (OK). He had been an assistant at his alma mater D2 Drury University (MO) since 2019. Boga also served as a men’s assistant at Highland CC, and later became the women’s head coach at the college.

Brad Johnson will head to D3 Nebraska Wesleyan as an assistant. For the past three seasons, he had been an assistant at D2 Seton Hill University (PA), and was an assistant at D3 Frostburg State (MD) before that.

I have heard that D3 SUNY Cobleskill is down to three finalists in their search for a new head coach. It sounds like the group consists of one current head coach and two assistants. More on this one as I hear it.
