I can confirm that Wingate assistant Akeem Miskeen has accepted a similar job at Hampton University. Miskeen has worked at Hampton before – after graduating from Queens University (NC) in 2008 he served as the DBO at HU. He also had a 1-year stint as an assistant at Mt. Olive College before going to Wingate before last season.

Former Wallace State-Hanceville CC assistant Andrew Brown has been hired as an assistant at St. Andrews College (NC). Before Wallace St., he was the GA at Mercer for two seasons. He replaces Wes Pifer who was named as an assistant at NC Central earlier this month.

I’ve got it from a good source that Ben Chase has been hired as the DBO at Houston Baptist University. Chase spent last season as a GA at Boston University. Before that, he was an assistant at his alma mater Emerson College.

Speaking of former Emerson assistants, sounds like Mike Scheffler will be added to the MIT basketball staff. He spent one season as an assistant at Emerson.

I’ve heard that Nebraska-Omaha graduate assistant Tim Sandquist has accepted an assistant job at Southwestern Community College (IA). He had been on the UNO staff in various capacities for the past five seasons.
