A few things to start the week…

• I have heard that the search for a head coach at Fitchburg State (MA) is down to four candidates: Rich Fazzi (head coach Dean College), Anthony Leonelli (assistant coach Rhode Island College), Titus Manderson (associate head coach Salem State), and Peter Mugar (associate head coach Clark University). It sounds like an announcement may be made this week.

• I have heard that Oklahoma State assistant video coordinator Kenneth Brown has accepted the Video Coordinator position on James Johnson’s staff at Virginia Tech. He had been at OSU for the past two seasons.

• I can confirm that Yahosh Bonner has been hired as the DBO at Southern Utah. He was most recently an assistant at Western Nebraska Community College. It sounds like his replacement at WNCC will be Louis Truscott. Truscott is a former standout at Nebraska who has been playing professionally overseas since his graduation in 2000.

• Bryan Hodgson has left his position as assistant coach at Jamestown Community College (NY) to join the staff at Midland College (TX) as an assistant. He had been an assistant at Jamestown CC for the past three seasons, and was at Fredonia State University for two years before that.

• I have heard that Cody Binyon will be named as an assistant at Texas A&M International. He was most recently the assistant Video Coordinator for the Men’s program at UCLA. He was also the Camp Administrator for the Ben Howland Basketball Camp this summer.
