Today’s "dirt"…

• Union College (NY) assistant Wendell Capeheart has accepted at HS job in Florence, SC. He was an administrative assistant at Coastal Carolina before joining the Union staff last season.

• Waldorf College (IA) has hired two assistant coaches – Reid Ouse and Cameron Hodges. Ouse was an assistant at Bethel University for the previous three seasons. Hodges played for Waldorf HC Nigel Jenkins while he was at University of Minnesota – Mankato, before playing professionally in Luxembourg last season.

• I have heard that Citadel DBO Matt Scherbenske is leaving to take the video job at Cal. Scherbenske was a program intern at Cal before joining the Citadel staff. He will replace Marlon Stewart who left to become the director of basketball technology at Virginia earlier this summer.

• From a good source…Winston Curry is in the mix for the Virginia Tech video job. He spent last season as a volunteer assistant at Roanoke College. More on this as it becomes official.
