Daily Dirt – 8/30/11

Still recovering from Hurricane Irene….we’ve been told not to expect power until Friday at the earliest. The Little DirtBags are running crazy. I feel bad for the DirtQueen who has to be home with the all day – at least I get to escape to the office (where there is power!) Here are a few things I’ve heard while hanging out in the dark….

Bethune-Cookman acting head coach Gravelle Craig has added former Kennesaw State assistant Montez Robinson to his staff. Robinson had spent six seasons at KSU. Craig was named acting head coach in July (http://hoopdirt.com/news/44e6ecfd/b-cu-names-quotactingquot-…).

I have heard that Humboldt State will add Aaron Hungerford as an assistant coach. He is a HSU alum who was most recently the boys basketball coach at McKinleyville HS (CA).

Damien Paulson will take over as the head coach at Fond du Lac CC. Paulson had spent the past 15 years at AlBrook HS (MN) where he also served as the baseball coach.
