Finally back from vacation….it feels funny to not be wearing flip-flops any more. Here are a few things that I’ve heard over the weekend….

I’ve heard that UNC-Asheville assistant Kotie Kimble will accept a spot on the staff at William and Mary. He had been at UNCA for the past four seasons, and was an undergraduate assistant coach at Coastal Carolina under both Pete Strickland and Buzz Peterson before that.

Bryan HS (TX) head coach John Reese will formally announce his resignation this afternoon. This will fuel the speculation that he will accept a position on the Texas A&M staff at the end of the month. Reese is the father of 2012 prospect J-Mychal Reese (ranked #28 by ESPNU) and his other son is already a team manager at Texas A&M.

University of Rio Grande Assistants Ryan Arrowood and Kyle Adams have both taken jobs. Arrowood, has accepted an assistant coach position at Mountain State (WV). A Rio Alum and West Virginia native, Arrowood has also served as the Head Boys Coach at Hannan HS (WV). Adams has accepted the full-time women’s assistant spot position at his alma mater Cheyney University. Prior to Rio, Adams was a Men’s Assistant at Lincoln(PA), Eastern, Plattsburgh State and Community College of Philadelphia.

Craig Stephens has been hired as the graduate assistant at Austin Peay. Stephens spent the last two years as the AD and boys basketball coach at Hendersonville Christian Academy (TN). Prior to that, he spent two seasons as an assistant at Bethel University (TN).
