September is here! The season is now right around the corner – I can’t wait! A few things that I heard today….

Sounds like Seton Hall coordinator of operations Casey Stanley is headed to Louisville. He will assume the role of video coordinator for the Cardinals. Prior to his time at SHU, Stanley was the graduate assistant and video coordinator at Iona.

I’ve heard that Berkeley College assistant coach Billy Diamond has turned down the head coach position at Union County College (NJ) job and will remain at Berkeley. He was given until 9/2 to decide. Not sure which direction UCC will head in now.

I can also confirm that Taurean Mitchell was recently hired as the assistant coach at Southeastern Illlinois College. Mitchell and SIC head coach Joshua Ervin both played at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Mitchell has also worked as an assistant at Eastern New Mexico.
