A few things that I’ve heard…

• I have heard that Amherst College assistant Paul Halas has departed and will join the staff at Brown. He had been on the Amherst staff for the past two seasons, and has also worked at RPI and Drew.

• I can confirm that Mark Richmond has been hired as the new assistant at West Virginia University Tech. Richmond spent the previous three seasons at the University of Charleston (WV). He also spent two seasons at Centenary (LA) and four years at West Virginia University a manager under coaches John Beilein and Bob Huggins. He replaces Jacob Gruse, who left in August to become an Assistant Coach at Averett College (VA).

• I have heard that Sean Burton has become an assistant at Babson College. He had been an assistant at Utica since 2010. Burton, who played overseas following his graduation from Ithaca, will replace Jeremy Viens (became Babson’s SID).
