A few things as we cruise into fall….

I can confirm that Brent Crews and Mike Davis Jr. have been hired as assistants at Chipola JC. I had blogged about the Davis hiring earlier this summer (he’s the son of UAB head coach Mike Davis). It sounds like Crews has landed a paying spot while Davis will be the volunteer. Crews played two seasons at Chipola before moving on to Florida Atlantic.

I have heard that Hoop Group staffer Alex Popp has accepted the assistant position at Middlebury College. Before joining the Hoop Group, Popp was an assistant at Springfield College. He joins a squad that advanced to the NCAA DIII Final Four last season.

From a great source….Indiana State video coordinator Will Delgado has accepted an assistant spot at Nebraska Wesleyan. He had been at Indiana State for the past three seasons. Delgado was a HS coach in Chicago before that.
