Here we go…
• Butch Estes has finalized his staff at Barry University (FL). Justin Furr, former assistant at Lynn University will become the associate head coach. Ryan Saunders and Mike Bradley will remain on the staff as assistant coaches. Also, Marcos Molina has been named as an assistant – he was formerly the head Coach at Hialeah Gardens (FL) HS.
• I have heard that Stephen Hinds has become an assistant at Catawba Valley Community College (NC). He spent last season as a HS coach, and played at Lenoir-Rhyne before that.
• It sounds like Clarke University (IA) has hired Benton (WI) HS head coach Jim Blaine as an assistant. Blaine had been the head coach at Benton for the past 14 seasons. He was 215-115 during his tenure.
• Scott Waterman has been hired as an assistant at Pomona-Pitzer. He was most recently an assistant at Cal State Fullerton and has also worked at Long Beach State. Waterman replace P.J. McDevitt who took a job in the private sector.
