A few things to start off the week….

I’ve blogged a ton about the Union County College job over the past month. It has been offered to Billy Diamond (Berkeley assistant) and Dermon Player (former Seton Hall assistant), but neither of them took the job. The latest name that I’ve heard is current Felician College assistant Joan Sanchez. Apparently he is in the mix and with practice starting in a few weeks, could be the choice here. Sanchez was the head coach at Concordia (NY) before joining the Felician staff last season.

I’ve heard from a good source that Mercer will promote Johnathan Howard to the role of DBO. He has worked in the program for the past two years as a manager. He would replace Mike Ellis who left the DBO role to become the Director of Facility Operations at Mercer.
