September is here! Kids are on campus…a few quickies before I run around to make sure that these knuclkeheads are actually going to class…
• We posted the hiring of Al Skinner as an assistant at Bryant last week – we neglected to mention who he replaced…Mike Kelly resigned at Bryant to take a position at IMG Academy in Florida. He had been on the Bryant staff for the past five seasons. Kelly has also served as an assistant at Virginia Tech, Davidson, and James Madison.
• Texas A&M has named John Smith as a graduate assistant. Smith was an assistant at Arlington Seguin HS (TX) has last season. He is a former student assistant at Northwestern State (LA).
• I have heard that former Colby CC (KS) assistant Zander Tasch is headed down the prep route and has accepted an assistant spot at Notre Dame (MA). He has also worked at Dakota Wesleyan and LIU CW Post.
