A few things that I’ve heard over the last couple of days….

Sounds like Kevin Funston, an assistant at Lycoming College last season, has accepted a spot on the staff at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Funston spent one season on the Lycoming staff, and was a manager at Pitt before that.

I guess Lycoming head coach Guy Rancourt likes to hire former Big East managers. According to my source, he will replace Funston with former Syracuse Manager Aaron Winshall. Look for the official announcement on this one shortly.

I mentioned that Southern Poly job being open earlier this week. I can now confirm that head coach Jeff Jones did indeed resign (or was asked to resign). Sounds like a pretty messy situation down there, so I’ll stay away from it for now, but keep you posted as I can confirm more.

What a terrible situation he is in, especially considering the health of his wife. The article is definitely worth reading. I’ve also heard from a great source that the BSC players are extremely unhappy about the decision to fire Voight and have been discussing their options.
