Mayhem at the HD World Headquarters…will have more later tonight, a couple quick hitters for now…

• I have heard from a great source that Texas head coach Rick Barnes and AD Steve Patterson will meet sometime this week to discuss Barnes’ future at the UT. One big-time source has told me that the meeting is “imminent.” I’ll keep an eye on this one.

• ESPN reported, and we have confirmed that Hornets assistant Mark Price is involved with the Charlotte job. Price, who played for 12-seasons in the NBA, has also been an assistant with five different NBA teams. Sounds like this one could wrap up soon.
