Round two…

• I have heard that new Hofstra head coach Joe Mihalich will be bringing his entire staff from Niagara with him and that current interim head coach Patrick Sellers will not be retained. I have also heard that he has offered former St. Benedict’s (NJ) assistant Billy Diamond an administrative role on the staff.

• I can confirm that Louisiana-Monroe assistant Cord Wright will become the head coach at Northeast Mississippi CC. He has been on the ULM staff for the past three seasons and was at North Alabama before that.

• I have heard that former Winthrop assistant Larry Dixon is involved with a spot on the new staff at Georgia Southern. Dixon spent this past season as a HS coach, but has also been a DI assistant at East Carolina and SC State (in addition to Winthrop).

• Speaking of SC State…it appears that Murray Garvin, who took over as the interim head coach in February after Tim Carter resigned, will be keeping the job on a full-time basis. He had been the associate head coach at SC State for the past two seasons.
