More "dirt"…
• I have heard that Southern head coach Roman Banks has signed a contract extension. I have not heard any of the contract details. He is coming of a 23-win season and an NCAA Tournament appearance.
• Mike Balado did join Richard Pitino at Minnesota as the DBO, but now there is word that he may return to FIU. Multiple sources have told me that he may join Anthony Evans staff as an assistant. I’ll keep an eye on this one.
• I have heard that former Maryland assistant Keith Booth will join G.G. Smith’s staff at Loyola (MD). Booth was an assistant for seven seasons under Gary Williams at Maryland before joining the Loyola (MD) women’s staff two seasons ago. He was a first round selection of the Bulls in 1997, and won a NBA Title with them in 1998.
