Like I said earlier – CRAZY DAY around here today….here are a few more things that I’ve heard…

• VCU assistant Will Wade has become a hot name at Tennessee Chattanooga. He is a Tennessee native and has some connections to new AD David Blackburn. There are a ton of other names floating around today, but Wade’s name has been blowing up my inbox.

• I have heard from a great source that former Marist assistant Will Lanier is in line to join Chris Casey’s staff at Niagara. Lanier spent four seasons at Marist – he was a staffer at St. John’s before that and worked with Casey there.

• I mentioned last week that Joe Dooley would keep the remaining assistants at FGCU after Kevin Norris departed to join Andy Enfield at USC. That has now been confirmed – assistants Marty Richter, Mike Fly, and DBO Joey Cantens will all remain with Dooley.

• A lot of names swirling already surrounding the vacancy at UMass-Lowell. UML is moving to DI next season and joining the America East. I’ll try to get a list up as soon as I can.
