• Florida Atlantic associate head coach Mike Jarvis II is a very hot name right now. He has been mentioned as being involved with positions at Memphis and FDU. I have at least three different sources who have given me little bits of info that lead me to believe he is close to landing one of these gigs. He has been on his father’s staff at FAU since 2008. Jarvis II has also worked at George Washington, Drexel, St. John’s, and Duke.
• I have heard that Miami DBO Mike Summey is involved with an spot at St. Francis (PA) and may be named as the associate head coach there. He has been at Miami for the past four seasons. He has also worked as an assistant at North Florida and The Citadel and been a the head coach at Bethany (WV). He began his career on the St. Francis (PA) in 1999.
• Kansas City Kansas CC head coach Jon Oler is out. There has been no official statement from the school, but at least two different people told me over the past day or so that he has been removed. • Former Wheelock Head Coach John Preziosa is now the Head Coach at
Bishop Fenwick (MA) HS. I have heard that former MIT Assistant (and NBA player) Paul Grant is in the mix to join his staff.
• We apologize for incorrectly listing the ETSU job as head coach rather than assistant coach earlier in the night. We’ve got some great readers who kept us on our toes by pointing out the error. It has since been corrected. I guess we owe Coach Bartow some beers at the Final Four next season – he has a lot of supporters who were worried about him!
