• I can confirm that former Central Arkansas head coach Rand Chappell has accepted the HC spot at Garden City CC (KS). He has also been the head coach at Labette Community College, Phillips College, Henderson State. He has 347 career victories and replaces Kris Baumann who took the Trinity Valley CC job a few weeks ago.
• I have heard St. Leo assistant Groothuis will become the head coach at Dr. Krop High School in Miami. Groothuis had been an assistant to Bob Hurley at St. Anthony’s and had also worked as an assistant at St. Edward’s (TX).
