A few things that I’ve heard as the day has gone on….

From a legit source – Washington assistant Ralph Chillious is in the mix at Vermont. He has been at UW since 2009. Before that, Chillious had spent the previous year working as Nike’s He also spent four and a half years (2003-08) as the head coach at South Kent (Conn.) School, so I guess he has New England ties. Also, Middlebury head coach Jeff Brown may no longer be in the running. Sounds like he’s happy where he is.

Sounds like Mike McGarvey will be hired as an assistant at Colgate. McGarvey is a Ursinus alum who has been on the staff there for the past five years.

Add Louisiana-Lafayette head coach Bob Marlin to the list at Texas A&M. It seems like I add a new name every blog, but AD Bill Byrne is apparently covering all of his bases. According to my source, Marlin is on the list, but below current Texas A&M associate head coach Scott Spinelli. Murray State’s Billy Kennedy could be the leader here. North Texas head coach Johnny Jones has also come up in conversation, but not sure how serious that talk is.

I’ve heard that there will be a shake-up on the staff at an America East school. According to my source, the team has been informed of the decision regarding one of the assistants, and the announcement is expected this week. I’ll post more when I can confirm it, but it looks like a pretty good AE assistant is out.
