Darius Dangerfield and Tyler Guidry have been hired as assistant basketball coaches at Nicholls State, and Jovan Coleman has been promoted to associate head coach.

Dangerfield had been on the staff at Lafayette as the Director of Operations and Assistant Coach for the past two seasons. Prior to that, he spent two years as the top assistant at Harford Community College.

Guidry was an assistant at Sam Houston State last season, and has also worked at UTRGV, Wiley College, and St. Thomas.

Last season was Coleman’s first at Nicholls State. He previously worked as a graduate assistant for Greg McDermott at Creighton, and as an assistant at Brewton-Parker College.
