A couple of quick items that have come across my desk today….

Fred Hill is going to add Sal Mentesana to his staff at Rutgers. Mentesana has been the head coach at Lehigh (1996-2002 – 43-125) and East Stroudsburg (1987-1994 – 133-117). He also worked as an assistant to Brian Hill (Fred’s uncle) at Lehigh for 4 seasons. He will replace Danny Nee as the "older veteran" on staff. Nee departed for Towson last month.

East Carolina assistant Darryl LaBarrie is going to return to his alma mater (Georgia Tech) as an assistant. Not only did he play at GT, he served as a graduate assistant there before moving on to assistants spots at Campbell and ECU. He replaces Charlton Young who became the head coach at Georgia Southern in the spring.
