North Dakota head coach Brian Jones has resigned and will become an assistant at Illinois State. He had been the head coach at North Dakota since the 2006-07 season where he compiled a 190-217 record.

He will replace Brendan Mullins at ISU who joined his brother’s staff at Southern Illinois earlier this spring.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
