Been following this one for a while…

After first offering their job to big-time JUCO head coach from Florida who turned it down last week, DII Gannon University (PA) is apparently now set to name Kelvin Jefferson as their next head coach.

The Old Dominion assistant has been on Jeff Jones staff since 2016. He has also been a DI assistant at Vermont, Stony Brook, American, and Colgate. Before coming to ODU, Jefferson spent time as a high level prep head coach at South Kent (CT). He played collegiately at DII Southern Connecticut.

An announcement is expected this morning.
