I can confirm that Ben Hicks has resigned as the head basketball coach at DII Georgia Southwestern University, and will be named as the new head coach at Chattachoochie Valley CC (AL).

Hicks has spent the past two seasons at Peach Belt member GSW. He also spent four seasons as an assistant at Columbus State, one season at DI Jacksonville State, and served as the head coach at Alabama Southern CC for four years.

Hicks is a native of Phenix City, AL (where CVCC is located).
