HoopDirt.com has learned that Jason Tinsley’s contract has expired and he will not return as the head basketball coach at Northeastern State (OK) next season.  The Riverhawks went 5-23 this past season, and in his three seasons, Tinsley compiled a 20-61 record. Before becoming the head coach at NSU, Tinsley was the women’s coach at Louisiana College where he went 89-25 with three berths in the NCAA Division III tournament. He has also been the men’s coach at UNC-Pembroke and Bossier Parish CC. An official announcement by the university is expected later this afternoon.
