HoopDirt.com can confirm that Louisiana College will name their new head coach today at a 1:00pm press conference.  I have heard from multiple sources that the choice will be local high school coach Reni Mason.  He will replace Gene Rushing who last month after 29 seasons at the helm.  Mason has spent the past seven seasons as the head coach Evangel Christian high school in Shreveport, La.  Mason has also been an assistant at the  University of New Orleans and Minnesota-Morris.  He played collegiately at both UNO and Louisiana Tech.
