HoopDirt.com can confirm that Mike Byrnes is no longer the head basketball coach at Rhode Island College. Byrnes just finished his fourth season with the Anchorman and wraps up his tenure with a 45-61 record (8-18 / 2017-18). Before coming to RIC, Byrnes served as an assistant under Andrew Toole at Robert Morris for four years. Byrnes also spent sixteen seasons as the head coach at The Winchendon School (MA), where he went 401-131, claimed a pair of NEPSAC Championships and sent over 100 players to DI schools.
