I have heard from multiple sources that the new head coach at Montclair State will be Moravian College’s Justin Potts. He will replace Marlon Sears who became an assistant at Columbia back in May.
This past season, Potts led Moravian to the Landmark Conference Championship, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA DIII National Tournament. Moravian collected 20 wins for the second straight season, giving Potts a 70-40 record over his four seasons as the Greyhounds head coach.
Potts is a Moravian alum who spent 13 seasons on the staff at DII East Stroudsburg University before returning to his alma mater back in 2015.
An official announcement is expected here with in the next few days.
