I have heard that DIII Pine Manor College (MA) will name Joe Chatman as their new head basketball coach. He will replace Rich Fazzi who recently took over at nearby Newbury College.

Chatman is a Boston native who played collegiately at both UMass Lowell and Lesley College. He has most recently been an assistant coach at Boston English HS, and is also the director of the Boston Spartans (AAU).

An official announcement about the hiring is expected shortly.
