DIII DIRT: UMass-Boston set to Name New Head Coach

I have heard that UMass-Boston has found their replacement for long-time head coach Charlie Titus.  According to great sources, the choice will be current LIU Brooklyn assistant coach Jay Harris.  He has spent the past seven seasons on the Blackbirds staff, serving two as the DBO, and the last seven as an assistant.  Harris is familiar with UMass-Boston’s league, The Little East – he played and coached at fellow LEC school Rhode Island College.  He also served on the staff of Plymouth State (another Little East school) for two seasons, including a stint as the interim head coach there.  I have heard that the official announcement will be made this week.
