I have now heard from multiple sources that Davidson assistant coach Ryan Mee has been offered the head basketball coach position at Vassar College. It sounds like the other two finalists were Colgate assistant Mike McGarvey, and NYU assistant Mike McSloy.

Mee, a New York native, has spent the past six seasons on the Davidson bench. He has also worked as an assistant at his alma mater Rochester, and NY schools Hilbert, Elmira, and Skidmore.

He would replace B.J. Dunne who became the head coach at Gettysburg earlier this spring.

An official announcement is expected in the next few days.
