I have heard that the search to replace Glenn Gutierrez at Washington and Jefferson is down to three. It sounds like all of the candidates have already wrapped up their on-campus interviews, and the job could be offered any day. The three finalists are:
• Justin Jennings – Assistant Coach Army. Last season was his first at Army. Spent the three years before that as the head coach at the United States Military Academy Prep School. He also spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Carnegie Mellon.
• Nick Nichay – Assistant Coach Franklin and Marshall. Has spent three seasons as an assistant at Franklin and Marshall. Has also worked at LeMoyne and Hartwick. Was a former manager at Rutgers.
• Ethan Stewart-Smith – Assistant Coach Carnegie Mellon. Spent five seasons as an assistant at Dickinson College before joining the CMU staff last September.
