I can confirm that the new head basketball coach at Waynesburg University (PA) will be current Cal Lutheran head coach Tim Fusina. He will replace Mark Christner who became the women’s basketball coach at his alma mater Calvin College back in April.

Fusina has been the head coach at Cal Lutheran since 2017, and spent four seasons as the head coach at Centenary University (NJ) before that. During his tenure at Centenary, he led the Cyclones to two ECAC Tournaments.

The other finalist for the position was also a current DIII head coach from the Mid-Atlantic region.
