With the basketball season just around the corner (hopefully), players should be gradually increasing their fitness levels in order to be “game ready.” This star shooting drill is a great way to combine conditioning and shooting into one quick drill.

Star Shooting

  • The player will start in the corner and receive a pass from the Dish.
  • After shooting, he will run to the opposite wing for a shot.
  • Then the Player moves on to spot 3, then 4, and finally 5.
  • Adjust the speed of the passes as well as the number of total shots (for example, 5, 10, 15 or 20) to increase conditioning.
