Like many programs, we spend a portion of our individual workouts breaking down parts of the actions within our offense. One of those actions is a “pass, chase, screen and space.”

Pass, Chase, Screen, Space

  • When our forwards pass from a perimeter position, they “chase” their pass for a ball screen.
  • Depending on how the defense plays the screen, the screener will roll or space to the short corner.
  • In this scenario, the passer screens, then spaces to the short corner and receives a pass from the ball handler.
