A few things that I’ve heard so far this morning…..

UNC-Wilmington Interim Head Coach Brooks Lee has been contacted by Gardner-Webb about their vacant head coaching position. Lee has been told that he is not being considered as the permanent replacement at UNC-Wilmington, but has expressed interest in staying on as an assistant.

John Pelphrey has been been told by AD Jeff Long that he will return next season, but does have to make a staff change. Assistant Coach Isaac Brown was reassigned to an administrative position yesterday (http://hoopdirt.com/news/e3b9c5a5/arkansas-staff-change/…) after a Sunday meeting between Pelphrey and Long. Former Texas Tech coach James Dickey and former Alabama coach Mark Gottfried are the top choices right now to replace Brown.
