Here are some of the early names that are being mentioned to replace Ed DeChellis at Penn State:

Jeff Lebo – Head Coach East Carolina. A Carlisle, PA native. Is 229-172 in 13 seasons as a head coach. Won 18 games this past season at ECU. Was also the head coach at Auburn, Chattanooga, and Tennessee Tech. Played at North Carolina.

Tom Herrion – Head Coach Marshall. Went 22-12 in his first season at Marshall. In four seasons at the College of Charleston, went 80-38. Was an assistant at Pitt, Providence, and Virginia.

Fran Dunphy – Head Coach Temple. Has won 420 games in his career at Temple and Penn.
