"I am thrilled that Tomas has decided to join our staff at East Central," said Havens. "He embodies the values that are important to our program and will be a great representative of the university. Tomas embraces hard work and as the product of a coaching family, has a great understanding of the game. He was known as an extremely tough competitor as a player and will bring a winning perspective to our coaching staff."
Before starting his coaching career, Brock played collegiately at Southwest Baptist. He helped the Bearcats to an MIAA regular-season title and a Sweet Sixteen appearance, while earning All-MIAA honors as a junior and senior.
Prior to joining Southwest Baptist, Brock was a four-year starter and three-year all-state performer at Mount Vernon High School where he was coached by his father, Skip Brock.

"Joel comes to ECU from a winning program and understands what it takes to be successful at this level," Havens said. "He is an extremely hard worker and has a passion for the game that will benefit each of our players on a daily basis."
Besides his work with Northwest Missouri, Lincoln has also assisted at many basketball camps, including Snow Valley Basketball School, Billy Donovan’s Gator Camp, Josh Pastner Memphis Tigers Camp, Texas Longhorns Camp, Michael Jordan Flight School and the Director for Midwest Elite Basketball.
